Welcome to my personal website! I'm Mohamed from Lebanon. I'm in my final year studying MEng Mechanical Engineering at UCL, highly interested and invested in the robtotics and automotive fields. I have valuable experience in Formula Student UK and Shell Eco-Marathon. I possess wide software proficiency including various CAD, CFD, simulation packages, and programming languages. I am also skilled in PCB designs and preparing components for CAM machining. I bring passion and technical knowledge into work and value teamwork and growth above all.
Skills and interests
- Mechanical design: Proficient in Fusion360. Comfortable using complex tools like generative design, topology optimization, static stress simulations and CAM Machining.
- Electrical design: Knowledgeable in circuit, harness, loom, and PCB design, CAN-BUS systems, and HV / LV systems. Comfortable with LTSpice, EasyEDA and RapidHarness.
- Computational Modeling and Analysis: Can generate CFD and FEA studies using Fusion360, ANSYS Workbench and SimScale. Comfortable using OptimumLap, MATLAB, Simulink and IPG Carmaker.
- Programming: Able to use Python to program Raspberry Pi 3. Comfortable in Arduino. Ongoing courses in ML, AI, Java and C++.
- Languages: Fluent in English, French and Arabic. Learning Spanish.
- Kyokushin Karate Fighter: Training since 2007. Black belt since 2012. 2x Lebanese champion in 2017 and 2019. Participated in All Japan Tournament in 2017. Placed 2nd in Welsh and Scottish Open Tournaments 2023.
- Guitar: Classical guitar player since 2010. Three duos compositions.
